Juan Cooper, born Juan Enrique Smith in Riley Hills, North Carolina on 3/13/1970. My fondest memories of my childhood were in North Carolina with my grandma, Lois "Granny" Smith, my grandfather, Quincy "Grandaddy" Smith, and my Aunt Jackie "Jack" Mangum. I credit my Aunt Jack for teaching me how to counsel and care for others. My Grandaddy taught me how to be a responsible and dignified man, and my Granny taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. My dad Garry Cooper, provided for his family and enabled me to live a priviledged life complete, with a wealth of life experiences that have sustained me through this day. My brothers Christopher Cooper and Patrick Cooper are the perfect sibling compliments to a personaility like mine. We competed athleticlly and intellecutally throughout or youth, which helped to shape my approach and stratigies towards my ambitions. My mother Vivian Cooper Moore, is and always has been the conductor that wrote the foundational arrangements of the music that motivates the steps in my quest for greatness. My mom ensured that I was set up for success and "trained up" with the proper spiritual and intellectual jewels neccessary for my adult life journey. During this journey I've battled like a driven solider and definitely had to pick myself up off the ground a few times (but, please known that I always got up swinging). My foundation is deeply rooted in my faith and my covering through the blood of Christ. Because of this I have enjoyed nothing but "Blessings in Abundance". But my gift, my true gift, has always been my ability to recognize good people and only surround myself with great people. That's the culmination of my early childhood lessons, what I was taught by my mom and brothers, and what I learned through experience during my adult "lifes journey". It's what brought me to Kotarah and the Thompson and Willis families. I found these beautiful people battling through this life like triumphant soldiers. They were familare to me and their was an immediate feeling of acceptance and belonging. It is believed and said that "Iron sharpens Iron". I believe that this saying is the definition of me and Kotarah's relationship and the actions taken place through our famlies merger. my goals is to give you all an inside look at the foundational arrangements of the music that motivates the steps Kotarah and I are taking in our quest for GREATNESS! |
