We had gone to the beach with some of our closest friends for a long weekend!  The weather turned out to be quite rainy but we had the best time!  Poor Lou kept looking for the perfect moment but the weather and timing of our activities just kept not presenting an opportunity!  He actually said he thought he might come home with the ring still in his pocket.  As we were packing up on Sunday Sept 20th, the sun came out and it was the most beautiful day!  Lou told everyone we should go for a walk on the beach because we hadn't had any beach time.  Lou had already walked down and was standing on the lower platform pretending to just take some pictures.  I started down the stairs to head toward where Lou was and unknown to me they had started filming.  As I walked around the bend to join Lou I heard our song  playing and I knew right then what was about to happen!  He had the ring box in his hand and as I walked up he grabbed my hands and got down on one knee and so surely and sweetly he asked if I would be his wife.  A thousand times yes!!!!  We got up and kissed and danced to our song.  I will never forget that most beautiful scene at my favorite place!!
