We had sort of known who each other was and shared some mutual friends. Lizz had a birthday party at a local place and Lou sent over some wine.  (July 2017) I (Lizz) invited him over to sit with us and we struck up a few conversations.  A week or so later he was having a party and I really wanted to go, so I messaged him...  I asked if I could come and if I could bring a friend.  He said of course and asked me to bring a snack.  My friend and I showed up at the party and as we entered through the back gate and I saw him by the grill.  I started over (carrying the fruit I had brought).  There was a cement platform under the grill he was standing on and I of course tripped over it!!  So embarrasing!  Well typical hero Lou caught me!  Definitely not as graceful as it sounds!!  Needless to say the rest was history!!  We chatted every day for awhile as friends and our friendship grew into the most beautiful love story! <3
