Bride

Both out of long term relationships, we longed to find our true soulmate. We enrolled on the dating website match.com, and tirelessly reviewed profile after profile of potential possibilities.

Out of disappointment, unable to find a decent connection, we adjusted our "requirements" for a potential mate. Fred changed his to "somewhat active", and I, "height" from 5'11 - 6'2, to include "5'7". I was suggested by the site to Fred's profile, and within minutes, he left me a silly line or two with an interest to connect. He wasn't 6'0, but he was a "monsterous 5'8"... And I, well, didn't even own a pair of running shoes....C'est la vie!

Fred at the time, was stationed in Afghanastan, and was not expected to return home for another 6 weeks. We began communicating via email daily, which soon included text messages, phone calls, and Skype. Some days talking 4-5 times a day, our conversations sometimes lasted late into the night. We talked about everything imaginable and developed a strong friendship.

By the time Fred was to return home, we had both expressed our feelings to each other, wanting to take it to the next level. When he arrived in Toronto, I jumped into his arms, and kissed him deeply. It was mutually agreed that we had built a strong foundation for a relationship, and now could add to our relationship by being physically in each other's presence.

We spent as much time as possible traveling back and forth to see each other. In the fall of 2013, Fred moved to Bowmanville, and since have continued to establish an amazing life together.
