WHEN DO I NEED TO GET THERE?
The ceremony and reception are on 11-15-24 so it would be ideal to get there 1-2 days in advance. Tyler and Savannah will be staying from 11-10-24 through 11-17-24. There is a 3-night minimum when booking. Stay as long as you'd like and make a vacation out of it!
IS IT ADULTS ONLY?
No, we chose the hard rock so children can join as well. the resort has an awesome kids club and water park so they can have their fun too! The resort is family friendly (hacienda side) or has an adult only side (heaven) as well.
DO I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! Your passport must be good for 6 months after your return home date. We recommend getting your passport as soon as possible as it can take about 3 months to come in.
DO I HAVE TO BOOK THROUGH THE WEDDING ROOM BLOCK?
In order to attend the wedding events, you must book your room through our dedicated room block. Hard Rock charges a fee per head for anyone that books on any other site, even through Hard Rock directly. Our total includes taxes, fees, flights and roundtrip airport transfers. We suggest booking as soon as possible to lock in your preferred room type.
DO I NEED PESOS FOR TIPPING?
While you most definitely can exchange USD for pesos, it is not necessary. You can tip your drivers, room service, bartenders, and anyone else in USD. It is even preferred as the USD is worth more in value than pesos. You can even book excursions or go shopping with USD or your credit card.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
In the Riviera Maya, the daily high averages around 85°F with a low of 75°F overnight. We recommend packing light sweaters/cardigans for the chilly evenings.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?
Wedding attire is semi-formal.
WHEN IS MY DEPOSIT DUE?
Deposit is due at the same time of booking. We recommend booking earlier than later to lock in cheaper flight rates. Deposit is $250 + traveler's insurance. The deposit does go towards the total amount of the trip.
DO I NEED TO BUY TRAVELER'S INSURANCE?
No, that is up to you. The cost is based on the total package price of your trip and can range from $99.00-$229.00 per person. It will allow you to cancel for any reason and it will assist you with any travel issues.
WHEN IS THE LAST DAY THAT I CAN BOOK MY TRIP?
The last day to book your trip is September 10th, 2024. Although, we do not recommend waiting until the last minute. Please RSVP as soon as possible!
WHAT WILL BE THE ESTIMATED COST OF THE TRIP?
The price for 3 nights (2 adults) with flights is around $2700. The price for 5 nights (2 adults) with flights is around $4,000. These are estimated prices. Rates change daily. We encourage you to pay your deposit as soon as you can to lock in your rates.
WHEN IS THE FINAL PAYMENT DUE ON THE TRIP?
The final payment is due 45 days prior to departure so that will depend on what day you leave. You can confirm this with Krete.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE OR OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS?
Yes, you are more than welcome to make it a family vacation and invite family members or plus ones. Let us know on your RSVP if you are bringing anyone else with you so that we can include them in our guest list.
CAN I LEAVE THE RESORT?
Yes! Explore the Yucatan. You can request a Taxi at the front desk of HRRM. Prices range from $15 - $200 per car depending on how many people and travel distance.
WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND THE WEDDING BUT STILL WANT TO CELEBRATE YOUR MARRIAGE?
We plan on having a party back in Nebraska to celebrate with all of friends and family. Date is to be determined.
GOLF CARTS
Guests are able to utilize the amenities on both the Heaven side (adult side) and Hacienda side (family side) of the resort. There are varying restaurants, beaches, pools and shows on each side. It will take about 15-20 minutes to walk from one end of the resort to the other. Golf cart shuttles are available from both the Heaven and Hacienda Lobby.
