Is There A Dress Code?
Yes! Please Look at Blog Postings for further information regarding a dress code. The "Blog" tab will keep you updated with all changes and additions to the event.
What Am I Responsible To Pay For ?
You are responsible to book and pay for all parts of the trip. A booking link for the hotel is provided under the travel tab. You must book the flight through any source of your preferance (Expedia, Booking.com, Travelocity, Etc.)
How Long Do I Have To Stay?
You are free to stay as long as you would like. We ask that you stay a minimum of three nights to enjoy all festivites.
Am I Allowed To Bring a Plus One?
Yes. Plus ones are allowed but must inform the Bride and Groom by January 10, 2024
Do I Have To Stay At The Same Resort As The Wedding?
Yes. To be counted as part of the wedding guest you must book with the resort. There is an optional boooking link provived if you visit the "Travel" tab and then "Hotels".
Are Children Allowed At The Wedding?
Children are great BUT they are not allowed.
How Do I RSVP ?
In order for your RSVP to count you must place a non-refundable security deposit of $150.00 per person under Hotel on the "Travel" tab OR foward booking confirmation to either the groom or bride.
When Is The Latest I Can RSVP?
To be counted as a guest for the wedding you must RSVP by January 10, 2024
Does Each Person Require A Security Deposit?
Yes! If using the Destify link provided, each person requires a security deposit. For Example: 2 People staying in a room means $150 x 2 =$300.00
What Happens If I Book A Room With Another Person And They Cancel ?
The $150 deposit submitted for the removed guest is non-refundable and non-transferable and won't be added to the room total but the room will reprice to the rate of the current occupancy.
Am I Allowed To Add A Person To My Room At A Later Time ?
Yes you can. You may secure the room with one person ($150.00) and make changes to your reservation at a later time. This includes dates and number of persons.
When Do I Have To Pay The Remaining Balance?
If using the link provided to book your room, you can pay the balance off little by little. The balance must be paid off in full 65 days before your expected arrival NOT the wedding date. The "Blog" tab will keep you updated with all changes and additions to the event.
Is Price-Match Available?
Yes Price Match is avaible. Price match is only avaible for up to 24 hours following placing your security deposit. You may respond to your confirmation email that you recieve after paying your security deposit with a screen shot of the competitors price. Are The Flights Included On The Destify Site?
Unfortunately No. Destify only provides booking for your stay and transfers to and from the hotel. You must book your flight seperate through any source.
Can I Book My Trip Through A Different Source? (Ex: Expedia, travelocity, booking.com)
Yes! But it's preferred you book your stay with the site provide. You may book your stay through a different source but it must be at the Riviera Maya Hard Rock Hotel. There are also Reserve Now, Pay Later options offered on these other sites as well. If booking through a different source you must send your booking confirmation by January 10, 2024
Do I Need A Passport To Travel ?
Yes. You need a valid passport that is not expired or expected to expire during traveling.
Is The Resort All Inclusive?
Yes. The resort includes all alchoholic and non-alchoholic beverages and food.
Is There A Registry Available ?
Yes. Closer to the date of the wedding a registry will be added to the "Regsitry" tab. Monetary gifts are also greatly appreacited. You also are able to purchase services provided by the resort on the "Registry" tab.
Will There Be Group Excursions ?
Yes. The "Wedding Event" tab will show all excursions and booking information for all attendees. The "Blog" tab will keep you updated with all changes and additions to the event.
