FAQs
When is the RSVP deadline?
Yesterday...you missed it!! Just kidding. All RSVP's need to be back to the Bride & Groom by November 1, 2022.
When should I arrive?
We suggest to plan on arriving a few days before the wedding in case there are any flight delays. If you come on Saturday, there should be more non-stop flight options.
How long should I stay for?
This is really a personal choice to make. We'd suggest an absolute minimum of 3-nights, but if your budget allows, staying longer should make this a nice, relaxing vacation for you.
How do I book the hotel?
Please copy and paste this link in to your web browser to book the hotel:

Should I book using your link or through my travel agent?
For the hotel, you should definitely book through the direct link we have provided above. By doing this, you will get the best rate, as well as be included in the wedding party. You may also miss out on wedding party benefits if you book outside of the link provided.
For your flight, feel free to book this through whatever means works best for you. If you need advice on this, please feel free to ask Matt or Leann.
Can I book the hotel over the phone?
Unfortunately, this is not an option, as per the Hard Rock Hotel. If you need assistance with making the booking online, please contact Matt or Leann and we'll be more than happy to help you with your booking.
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Yes. Please note though that they may not all be located near each other as attendees can select from many different categories of rooms. If you need/prefer your room near someone else's, please contact the hotel to arrange this.

What airport should I fly to?
You should book your flight to arrive at Punta Cana International Airport. The airport code is PUJ.
Do I need a passport?
It's a foreign country, so yeah. If you have a US passport, it must have at least 6 months of validity remaining on it from the day you plan on returning home, or you will be rejected by customs. If you have a passport from a different country, you'll need to check with the Dominican Republic's specific policies for you.
Do I need a visa?
For US passport holders, no visa is necessary. In addition, if you are entering the Dominican Republic by air, you no longer need to purchase a Tourist Card, as that is included in all airfare. For non-US passport holders, please check with the Dominican Republic's specific policies for you.
Do I need foreign currency?
If you don't plan on leaving the hotel, there should be no need for the local currency. However, if you plan on exploring the island on your own, having the local currency is always a good idea, which is the Dominican Peso. These can be obtained in advance from many banks or AAA.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
For getting to/from the airport, you can arrange transportation with the hotel by following the instructions at https://www.hardrockhotels.com/punta-cana/book-transportation.aspx. You may also make separate arrangements through private car services, Uber, taxis or get a rental car.
Is there transportation on the island?
If you wish to explore the Dominican Republic, there are tours that can be arranged through the hotel. You can also use Uber, taxis or rent a car to explore.
Can I bring a date?
Absolutely! Just be sure to let us know in your RSVP so we have an accurate headcount.
Are children allowed?
Absolutely! Just be sure to let us know in your RSVP which children will be attending with you.
Is there a dress code?
Beach semi-formal for the wedding ceremony and reception. Please, absolutely no shorts or bathing suits.
Contact Matt or Leann if you have any questions.
What kind of food will be served?
We have not determined the menu for the reception yet. As the date gets closer, we will post the details here. If you have any food restrictions, please be sure to include it in your RSVP.
Is there a gifts registry?
The most important thing for us is your presence to celebrate our marriage, but if you do want to make a gesture, there will be a card box for envelopes at the wedding.
What will the weather be like at this time of year?
In March, the average high temperature is 82°F and the average low temperature is 73°F. This is also considered the "dry" season, so precipitation should be minimal.
Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?
At this point, we have not made any plans to livestream the ceremony. If this changes in the future, we will post the details here.
I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
If you still have questions, please feel free to call, text or e-mail Matt or Leann.
