My birthday is June 28th, I got engaged June 29th...

I had been giving Nick a hard time about proposing and I told him that he had to do it by birthday, but in Nick fashion he of course waited until the next day. 

All I knew on June 29th was that Nick and our friends, George and Lauren were taking me out to dinner. I chose St. Charles. I chose Trail Head Restaurant, that was a NO. I chose Llywelyns Pub, that was a NO. Nick said lets go get pizza and George and Lauren agreed. Me on the other hand, I was not having it. I kept thinking if this is my birthday dinner I want to eat were I want and right now I am not in the mood for pizza. Nick proceeded to say that we should go to Frankie Toccos Pizzeria (our friends own this). Being the stubborn person that I am I kept saying no. I dont want pizza, I don't want to go there. Nick said lets go there have a beer, they have a bar downstair that we could go to. 

Finally, I agreed.

Nick, George and Lauren let me go in front which I thought was weird, but I didn't pay attention to it. I went down the stairs first, as I was getting closer I noticed feet. Odd. I get to the last stair and everyone says "surprise!!!" I'm thinking its a birthday surprise. I start crying in Crystal's arms. I look up I see the Lewis's, I cried some more. I look up again and I see my cousins, more tears. I catch a glimpse of Nick behind me and the I sort of new.

I turn around and he says "well NayNay will you marry me".

In between all my tears I said YES!!
