Max and Nicole met on a dating app (at least it was Hinge, the ~classier~ one). 

Though, they lived 5 miles a part and maybe could have met in person!

Immediately they hit it off both online and in person, their conversations lasting hours and similarities started to become evident. Nicole finally met someone who was just as funny as she and could make her laugh while being "down for anything", and Max loved how fun and confident Nicole was, and how she had a full life of friends, family and cool things going on at all times. 

Max and Nicole love comedy, dogs, traveling, similar music, tv/movies, their friends and family and of course having a good time. They connected quickly on so much, and got along so well, instantly forming a "best friend" style romantic relationship where everything clicked. 

On February 6, 2022 Nicole peer pressured Max to attend a concert with her (one of many times she'd force him to attend a concert 😏) and like every other time after that, Max agrees to go and ends up having an amazing time. It was this fateful night he asked her to be exclusive!

A few weeks later, the Fire and Air sign lovers decided to spontaneously go to New Orleans together which ends up being very on brand for this couple. They had a great time, and it became even more obvious that the mental connection was there, the physical connection, and the pair could handle not only traveling together, but could handle something like Mardi Gras together! It was on this trip that Max said "I love you" and the emotional connection was officially established as well. 

After many amazing moments of hanging out locally together, attending countless fun events, blending friend groups, traveling the world together, moving in together, parenting Rio together, and being the ultimate party hosts, Max and Nicole find themselves in Barcelona, Spain on July 2, 2024.

Walking along the beach during sunset after some delicious paella and Spanish cocktails, Max lied and said there was an ancient ship wreck by the beach he wanted to check out to lead Nicole there. Unfortunately there was no cool ship wreck, but Max did get down on one knee and pop the question! He hired a surprise photographer to take photos (which you can see more of in The Gallery). Nicole is so happy to have been proposed to on a Spanish beach during her first trip to Europe and with the love of her life. 

It's a surprise to no one that Nicole made time to head over to the Louis Vuitton store in Barcelona afterwards to get her official new initials heat stamped on some goodies. 😜

Max and Nicole had an epic time celebrating their engagement in Ibiza and Mallorca following the proposal.
