When will we the bride and groom arrive?

We will arrive on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Punta Cana and departing on Tuesday, July 30.  Room type will be the royal rock Caribbean Sand Suites near the beach. 

 

What is the weather going to be like?

Expect tropical and hot weather in July at Punta Cana. Temperatures range from high 89°F to low 76°F (31°C-24°C). Bring plenty of sunscreen for your trip!

 

How big is the resort?

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is one of the biggest resorts in the area with a total of 1775 guest rooms, 13 pools, 9 restaurants, night club, casino, on-going entertainment, all-inclusive luxury amenities, food, drinks, and so much more!

 

What should I wear to a resort destination wedding?

Men can wear lightweight linen or cotton pants with a light-colored dress shirt or linen shirt.  Lightweight suits (ex: linen) are also an option.  Women can opt for a sundress or a maxi dress in breathable fabrics.  Women can also wear jumpsuits or dressy separates.

 

Can I travel without a passport?

No, you must have an unexpired passport book to travel.  Passport must be valid for at least six months after your return date.

 

Is travel insurance necessary?

Travel insurance is not mandatory, but it's highly recommended. It can provide financial protection in case of trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unforeseen circumstances that can disrupt your travel plans.

Can I travel with my golf clubs?

Most airlines allow you to check one golf bag (per passenger) as a standard item of checked baggage, as long as equipemt is contained safely and meets the size requirement. Standard baggage charges apply. Golf bags weighing over 50lbs will  be charged the appliable excess weight fee. (Checked your airline golf equipment policy).

Can I book excursions ahead of time?

Yes, you can pre-book your excursions with our travel agent.

Should I tip at an all-inclusive?

Although not required, tips are very much appreciated. 
$1-$2 per bag to bellhops
$5 per passenger to airport shuttle driver
$3 to $5 per person at nicer sit-down dinners for excellent service
$1-$2 at buffets, or $5 after a few days
$2-$5 a day for housekeeping or a larger sum at the end of your stay
