Q: How should I book my stay?

A: Make sure to book your room using the link below to get the best deal. Please contact our travel agent, Krichelle Murphy if you have any qurstions about booking your room, transportation to the resort, and/or help finding the best flight. She can help you find whatever is cheapest.

Q: Why a Sunday wedding?

A: The weekend of the wedding is a 4 day weekend for some of us because of MLK day.

Q: Do I need a passport to attend?

A: Yes, since you are flying to an airport in another country you will need a passport and you will need to go through customs. 

Q: Where exactly is the wedding?

A: The wedding location is the Hard Rock Hotel & Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Q: Do I have to book a room at the hotel the wedding is at?

A: No, you can stay at another hotel or AirBnB of your choosing, however our travel agent Krichelle is negotiating with the Hard Rock Hotel to get us the best rate possible. 

Also if you stay outside the resort you will have to buy a day pass in order to get into the resort for the ceremony and reception. This cost $151.00 per person.

We highly recommend staying at the resort to avoid fees and extra expenses. It is an all inclusive 4 star resort where you will get a pretty good price thanks to our travel agent. 

Q: Do we have any discount on the rooms?

A: We will have a "room block" for everyone staying for the wedding. Krichelle is negotiating the best price which will be locked in for everyone. A 3-night minimum requirement per attendee is mandatory in order for the group rate to apply.

The timeframe for the block is Friday (01/17/25) to Monday (01/20/25). We also have some rooms booked from Saturday (01/18/25) to Saturday (01/25/25) for those who want to stay longer. 

We should be able to be flexible with these dates as long as they are planned and booked as early as possible. If we are within the 3 month period of the wedding then you would have to book a room inside the room block timeframe to get the discounted rate. 

Q: How much will the rooms be and what is included?

A: Right now it is looking like the cost will be around $500 a room for two people ($250 a person) or $675 for three people. This includes ALL FOOD and drinks, INCLUDING ALCOHOL. It also includes 24/7 room service for free. There are several resturants and bars all over the resort which are also included. All GRADITUITY is also included so you don't have to worry about tipping.

Q: What kinds of things are not included in the room price?

A: The flight to the airport and the shuttle to the resort will not be included. Any excursions, spa treatments, golfing, and a few other specific things would cost extra.
