Our Story

Back in March 2019, Jeff and I crossed paths on the dating site Hinge. It was a serendipitous encounter, as Jeff was in the process of moving from Wisconsin to Vegas and we matched while he was apartment hunting. Unfortunately, our schedules didn't align, and we couldn't meet up that month. I started doubting whether we would ever have a chance to connect. The conversation between us tapered off for a while since Jeff was traveling to Australia, and I was caught up with the end-of-school-year rush.

Then, at the end of May, out of the blue, Jeff messaged me saying he was back in town and eager to meet up. I was taken aback, having not heard from him in a month. With tempered expectations, I figured that at least I could make a new friend. Little did I know, our first date would turn out to be the longest and most enchanting first date I had ever experienced. Neither of us wanted it to end.

Exactly one year after my grandmother's passing, I remember having a profound realization: she had sent me Jeff, a Catholic Packers fan! As we got to know each other better, we discovered that our lives had striking parallels. We shared similar life experiences, a deep affection for the Midwest, an adoration for dogs, and a passion for traveling. How could I not fall in love?

Over the past four years, we have embarked on numerous adventures together and created countless cherished memories. We have been there for each other during the ups and downs, offering support and encouragement. Neither of us had anticipated finding such a profound connection, but now we both eagerly anticipate the next chapter of our lives.

We are immensely grateful to have you all here with us on this special day in Cancun. We look forward to celebrating together on March 10th!
