Nigel and Zahriaa's journey began at Western Kentucky University, where they both pursued higher education and became part of the esteemed Divine 9. Zahriaa is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, while Nigel is a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

Their connection deepened during the Southern Greek Leadership Association (SGLA) conference in Atlanta. As they honed their leadership skills and bonded over shared experiences, their mutual respect and admiration grew.

Before long, Nigel asked Zahriaa to join him for a movie date in spring 2022. The rest, as they say, is history. Their relationship blossomed, and Nigel formally asked Zahriaa to be his girlfriend on April 24, 2022.

Together, they welcomed their precious son, Navin, on December 30, 2023. Now, they eagerly anticipate exchanging vows and beginning their new life together.
