Lizzy and Nathan met where most couples do nowadays, on the internet. It was the early days of COVID (July 2020) and the world was shut down. For their first date, Nathan invited Lizzy over to go for a walk with his bernedoodle, Matzah Ball. Things moved quickly as there weren’t many date locations open. Nathan invited Lizzy to Breckenridge for the weekend after 2 weeks of dating, where they decided they would be exclusive and official.

Nathan decided to buy a house in February 2021, but with the Denver housing market being so competitive, he went the new build route. Nathan and Lizzy moved in together in April 2022 when construction was complete. They have spent the last few years exploring the great Colorado outdoors- skiing, hiking, and going to the occasional brewery. They love puzzles, trivia, the movies, and working out together.

Nathan proposed in January 2024 at the Cripple Creek ice castles after 3 and a half years of dating and almost 2 years living together. Matzah Ball knew early on that Lizzy was meant to be her mommy forever, but it took Nathan a little longer.

Throughout their relationship Nathan and Lizzy have shared a love of beach vacations, so they decided to make their wedding on the beach in the Dominican Republic. They cannot wait for the big day with friends and family.
