After torturing the boys with the "one gift at a time rule", a special gift was handed to me by Hunter. Totally didn't expect to be getting a ring and the entire setting couldn't have been more typical of our family. Each of the boys had their own unique reaction that confirmed "it was time". As soon as I said "Yes!!!!", Aidan blurted out, "We're going to Mexico!" Hunter giggled and smiled. Charlie immediately fired off questions about dates and Chris pretended to have made the connection between engagement and marriage. We later learned that Chris just thought we were engaged and was thrilled to learn that meant we were FINALLY getting married. We're all so excited!
