On the date of November 1, 2014 Dakarai Brandon Rhodes got down on one knee and asked Valerie Renee Oseski for her hand in marriage.  In fact, this proposal happened in front of hundreds of people on stage, at the Sharaton hotel, while he was competing in a Physique Competition.  He knew he wanted to ensure the proposal was a big deal so he actually waited months for this particular moment.  He bought the ring months before hand that summer of 2014 but wanted to wait until the moment was extremely special.  Which the moment was very special to both….Special to Dakarai because he put in so much effort for this competition and he placed second in his class and special for Valerie because she got extremely embarrassed being called up to the stage when Dakarai proposed.  The engagement was truly unforgettable.
