Q. Why should I book my package through Plans of Elegance versus an online travel website?


 


A. A travel agent will do more than simply sell you a travel package. A travel agent is a resource that is


available to you from pre-purchase to post-travel. The agent will assist you with searching for the best


available options; to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding hotels/resorts, flights,


transfers, travel protection coverage, entry requirements, and much more. In addition, if you experience


any issues during travel, your travel agent can often assist you with quickly resolving the matter. Travel


agents have relationships with suppliers that consumers and even many employees of online travel


agencies do not.




Q. Will I save money booking my travel package through Plans of Elegance?


 


A. In many cases, the suppliers with which travel agents collaborate, have negotiated the best possible deals


for customers. Bundling your travel needs (hotel/flight/transfers/features) often provides additional


savings. Travel agents will compare the prices of multiple suppliers and then extend the best offer to their


clients.




Q. Am I able to book the resort through Plans of Elegance and book my flights using my airline miles/rewards?


 


A. Absolutely! If you have enough points to redeem flights, then by all means please feel free to do so. Who


doesn’t love saving money!




Q. Will I be required to pay for my travel package in full at the time of booking?


 


A. When planned far enough in advance, Plans of Elegance is able to extend payment options to clients.


Many of the suppliers with whom agents collaborate, are willing to accept a small deposit at the time of


booking. The balance is due 45-60 days prior to departure, depending on the supplier.




Q. What payment methods does Plans of Elegance accept?


 


A. Most major credit and debit cards are accepted. However, checks are not accepted.




Q. I’ve confirmed my booking. Now I wish to apply an additional payment towards my balance. How can I do that?


 


A. Once a booking has been confirmed, the traveler is free to apply payments towards their balance as often


as they’d like and in any amount. To do so, an updated credit card authorization form is required.

Q. The flight choices you’re offering me differ from those found on the airline’s website. Why is this?


 


A. Suppliers often purchase a select amount of seats on particular flights and from particular airlines. They


in turn, offer these flights to their customers for purchase along with hotels/resorts and other features...


thus, the reason for limited flight options.


Note: special flight requests can be made; however, the ability to acquire seats on the flight is not


guaranteed.




Q. My roommate will be traveling from a different city? How should we handle our reservation?


 


A. Accommodating such requests is not a problem. However, this type of request does require an additional


step or two. As a result, it may take a little longer to confirm the reservation. When ready to book, the two


roommates should submit one reservation form which needs to include both travelers’ information. In the


comment section, insert the second departure city. Plans of Elegance will contact the supplier, who will in


turn arrange the flights. Once the reservation is confirmed, you will be notified of next steps. It will be fine


to submit the required deposit amount via two separate credit cards, if desired.




Q. I prefer a certain bedding type (one king, two queens, two doubles, etc.). However, my reservation confirmation


lists a different type. Why is this?


 


A. When processing a reservation, the system will recognize the number of travelers and return room


options that will adequately accommodate the specified number of travelers. As a result, your desired


bedding type may not be available. When this happens, your travel agent will note the comment section


with your request. At check-in, the guest service representative will check availability and grant your


request, as long as your desired room/bedding type is available.


Note: Travel agents and online travel websites are never able to guarantee special requests such as bedding


requests, room location, specific buildings, floors, etc. We can only document your request. It is up to the


hotel to decide whether or not the request will be granted.




Q. Is Hard Rock’s ‘Kids Stay Free’ promotion available to my family?


 


A. Any special promotion you are eligible to receive, per its terms and conditions, will be applied to your


travel booking.


 


Q. I noticed that Hard Rock will give a resort credit up to $1800 per room. How much credit will I personally receive?


 


A. $1800 resort credit will be granted to rooms with 7-8 night stays; $1500 for 5-6 nights; $750 for 4-nights;


and $500 for 3-nights.


Note: A 20% service fee will apply over the final price of all transactions using the resort credit.
