 | To propose to Jessica, Alex curated the most perfect adventure in the beautiful tropical land of Riviera Maya. The days were filled with swimming, cenote-diving, cave-exploring, hiking, zipling, canoeing, snorkeling, dancing, pool parties, mezcal-tasting, and unlimited ceviche and palomas. Everything Jessica loves--well I think the mezcal was a new found love. ;) Anyways, Alex planned to pop the question on the beach, however, the resort--while extremely beautiful--only has man-made beaches due to the rocky coastal terrain. Not what Alex had in mind. So after an extremely fun, foam-filled day at the resort's pool party with a live DJ, Alex popped the question back in the hotel room. He used her mom's wedding ring--a piece of jewelry that she treasures dearly. Of course, Jessica said YES. She had a feeling that a proposal was coming, as it was becoming quite obvious that he had put SO much thought and effort into creating the perfect experience for this milestone event but it didn’t take away from the special moment! The upgraded suite, all-inclusive paradise, an anxious Alex--it all had come together for her, and it was perfect. After the proposal, they celebrated in Playa Del Carmen with new friends--the DJ from the foam party and the concierge, Daniela (who will be the onsite wedding coordinator BTW). They had a wonderful time dancing the night away and sipping on mezcal (as you can see in the photo)! That week was the perfect get-away--and now friends and family get to join in while they tie the knot at the same amazing resort! |
