I had no idea I was going to be engaged on 10/28/18 because trust me I did not have my nails done or my favorite outfit on, but it was still magical. As everything Matt does our engagement was perfectly planned from beginning to end. It happened to be in the most romantic city in the world and I was surprised when Matt dropped down on one knee after taking a picture in front of the Medici Fountain at the Luxembourg Gardens. Of course I immediately said YES and now we cannot wait to say I DO at this beauitful venue.

After a few months of dating, I knew that Estefania was the perfect woman and needed a perfect proposal. We had always talked of taking a vacation to Europe and as soon as our flights were booked I started to plan the proposal. After researching numerous potential proposal spots in Paris, Bruges, Brussels and Amsterdam, I decided that the perfect place would be at the Medici Fountain in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris. To help pull this off, I recruited my two secret agents Manuela Zuluaga and Matt Mayorga to assist in pulling off the proposal. They were able to reach out to their friend Henri who lived in Paris and would become our undercover photographer. Manuela and Matt put me in touch with Henri and we were in contact months leading up to our trip to Paris to go over details of when and where the proposal would take place. The secret committee decided that it would be best for Estefania and I to meet up with Henri and I carefully recommended what Estefania should text Henri in order for this to appear that we were conveniently meeting up with him and he would take us to the proposal spot. On the big day, I had the ring hiding in a fanny pack strapped around my back and had to stealthily position myself during pictures so Estefania would not notice a ring sticking out of my back. After meeting up with Henri, we walked to the Medici Fountain where he recommended "this looks like a great place for a picture" and shortly after I got down on one knee to ask the easiest question of my life as Henri was able to capture the perfect pictures and video so we could cherish the moment forever.
